We Give Books!
Parents, are you looking for fun ways to motivate your children to read this summer? Do your children love to read books using digital media like IPads and Kindles? Help prevent “summer brain drain” by subscribing to We Give Books’ Read for My Summer. You will receive weekly emails with links to free online books and activities for your child. The cost is FREE! You simply need a valid e-mail address to subscribe. We Give Books’ Read for My Summer is your chance to share books and celebrate literacy with young readers in your life all summer long. Designed for children age 1 or younger all the way up through age 10, this free program highlights special books for you and your child to read online from the We Give Books library every week, along with fun interactive tools and activities to make each book come to life. Sign up now by clicking here.
MWES Summer Camps
Looking for a fun yet challenging, engaging, and educational activity for your child to participate in over the summer? Consider sending your child to a summer camp here at MWES. Robotechniweek June 24th–28th (grades 3-5 only), The Circle of Life July 8th–12th (grades 1–5), and To Infinity and Beyond (grades 1–5) July 15th-19th. STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.  For more information and the application form, click here.
New Policy for Requesting Documents from School
The policy for requesting documents from Prince William County Schools has changed. If you are in need of any documentation that requires copying from the school, there will be a minimum $5.00 charge, up to and including the sixth page (one-sided), and $0.20 per side for any additional pages. Cash or money order will be accepted only. These charges are per the financial guidelines outlined in PWCS Regulation 790-2.  Enrollment verification letters can be requested by calling, faxing, or visiting the school.  Please allow 24 hours to process your request.
